Boys are camping in the backyard because they couldn’t go to the scout campout this weekend (our decision after a flag football teammates tested positive). I have this small camp fire pit and we are out back so I can still watch football.

Cheers y’all.

Promise you won't fancy yourself as a firewalker after too many adult drinks?

Yeah, I'm not worried about that.

Is that one of the fold flat fire trays?

Yep, working ok given than I don't have proper fire wood, and there isn't great air flow.

Excellent. It’s a lovely evening in Chicago too. We had a fire last night. Might do another tonight.

Unseasonably warm in MN so I’ll be taking advantage at an outdoor pat io in about 10 minutes. Bummer about the Covid situation but kudos for making the hard, but correct call.

Tell me more about that grill. We’re remodeling our backyard and adding a paver patio. I’ve been wanting some sort of fire pit, and that seems like a nice solution.

Would not recommend. I’m leaning heavily toward the pricey Solo Stove. Everything I read about it is good.

I bought it just to have something in a pinch.

Yup! Perfect van-ping weather. This lake is closer to Denver so I’ll be home by dinner tomorrow.

(Also, this contact was much nicer and said to call tomorrow if I need anything)

My older sister had a similar one. It needs a log or two to work, to create a draft from those side holes or it just smolders.

first night they had it, we kept going out to the steet with loppers where their neighbor had bunch of dead branches awaiting pickup. though the stuff was dry as a bone it would not burn.

the sa crificial tiles are a good idea
